Gen. Philip Breedlove, Commander, U.S. European Command, issued the following statement on the Nov. 13 Paris attacks:
“My deepest sympathies go out to the people of Paris and France, and all those impacted by these horrific terror attacks. I have contacted the French Chief of Defense and offered to assist in any way our military can. We will continue to stand beside our oldest NATO Ally to deter, disrupt and defeat terrorists who threaten our values, freedoms and our way of life.”
STUTTGART, Germany — In a demonstration of our continued commitment to the fight against ISIL in Iraq and Syria, United States European Command directed the U.S. Air Force to deploy six F-15Es to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. The F-15Es from the 48th Fighter Wing based at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, arrived today at approximately 3:50 p.m. Eastern European Time (EET).
U.S. European Command’s Maj. Gen. Mark Loeben was invited to speak at the DAZ: Deutsch-Amerikanisches Zentrum (German-American Center) Concert in Neues Schloss, Stuttgart, on 7 October 2015.
